Hey Ho, let's go... Namibia here we come!!!

Tickets booked, and I'm off to check out Walvis Bay next Wednesday.

We have one asset on our hands in spades now and that is time. Sure we don't have any funds but it's the way of the world that when we do... we wont have any time. So we decided that it was time to bite the bullet and just go. We are planning our future around relocating to a better venue so obviously it is necessary to know exactly where that is.

My biggest fear is that we will lose a year by not carrying out a full sailing program this winter and spring. Our summer is always a busy period with heaps of sailing work and then it's nearly over.

So I will spend five days in Walvis Bay checking the place out in every detail and then come back and plan accordingly. If it is as good as it is cracked up to be then we will make immediate plans to ship the whole project down there which will involve fully stocking the container with all necessary supplies, loading everything in and securing everything down. It will take over four weeks for the container to get to Walvis Bay and clear customs. that will buy us enough time to continue the search for ongoing funding so we can get a full team to get down there and begin sailing.
