Hi ho, ho ho... off to 'speedspot' we go!
All prepped and ready to hit the course once more. Further refinements are in place and we are working to downsize our handling team back to four people.
Hopefully the onboard camera will be back in action but the Mic is playing up. I would love to get all the electronics off this boat. They make the rest of the boat look simple. Necessary evil I guess. You wouldn't believe how many plugs and adaptors we have in our container. Six digital cameras, four laptops, 4 mobile phones, 2 cordless drills, a hard drive, 3 handheld radios, European, African and UK plugs etc etc.
Aye yi yi. It's my version of hell.
We use it all in a days sailing and data processing.
Well let's see what today brings. We will head out to 'speedspot' in half an hour or so and wait. We only need a couple of good runs to demonstrate the right control settings and then we can go for it.
It always makes me a little nervous at this stage as anything can happen and the outcome at the end can vary wildly.
Cheers, Paul
