April 2 and off we go!

Hiya party people,

well the container is a hive of activity. The sun is shining and the wind is kicking in. The tide is filling in and the strip will be in pristine condition... again! The Tacktick instruments are swinging into the SW and we are all preparing to hit 'speedspot'.

Sailrocket is tweaked. All the instruments, cameras (onboard and off) and data loggers are charged and in position.

The wetsuits are being shuffled around and stretched on.

I'm getting the usual little butterflies that I get before each run. I know that anything can happen and that our speed run begins the minute we wheel the wing out from its covers. I know that if conditions are a bit stronger today that we will still go for it. I know that at any moment this boat could take me faster than I have ever been before.

Yup, anything could happen.

So hi ho, hi ho... let's see what does.
