Too much of a good thing... unfortunately.

Hi to all live from the container.
It was a crisp and clear morning which indicated that the wind was going to blow early... and it did. It began to blow above our preferred strength before the tide had come in. There were packs of flamingos standing across the lagoon entrance indicating shallow water all the way. We are around the time of a new moon when the tides are quite big. Once the wind is in, it is in...and it is in now.
So we have carried on with the finishing touches for the new mods. on the boat.
I have added a 'handbrake' device on the outer pod to help us turn away from the beach if ever the boat slips... erm... out of mode like it did on the last run.
To tell you the truth we are still struggling to understand what happened in the last run. I hope we never have to use the handbrake... but if we do, then it is there.
The wind is really building up now and the wing is stored under a cover to keep the fine sand off it.
Helena is working alongside me reinventing how this very website will appear and Brad is back at the house editing up todays video.
we are about to head out to the airport to try and calibrate our tacktick anemometer against theirs.

Thanks to those of you who support our patience. I only have to look at the big picture of where we are and how long it has taken to get here to put a few days waiting in perspective.
Cheers, Paul.
